I realized today when I was making a batch of Kale Chips for the week that I have only ever posted photos of this yummy snack, but I have not really shared the super simple recipe. So here is a quick post with a “how to” so that the recipe will be easily searchable. It’s a great snack to have on hand for the week.
1 bunch of kale, washed and torn into about 3 inch sized pieces
2-3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Himalayan sea salt (or regular sea salt)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, drizzle olive oil over pre-washed, torn kale. Add the Himalayan sea salt.
3. Massage the kale for about 2 minutes. This will help evenly coat the kale with oil and sea salt. It will start to soften and will darken a little.
4. Lay out the pieces of kale on the baking sheet so that they do not overlap.
5. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
