008This is a great go to side! This works for holidays and week nights! So versatile! Plus, I love crispy broccoli! This recipe is another one of those toss it all together and then pop in the oven. No fuss! Which, is the kinda recipe we all need for crazy week nights and holidays.  I made this dish for both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. It was a hit! It is also good for reheating later.

2 large heads of broccoli, cut into florets
5-6 garlic cloves, diced
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup pecans
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh thyme

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
2. Layer the florets in a baking dish. Sprinkle the pieces garlic across the top. Add pecans.
3. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice on top. Sprinkle black pepper and thyme across the broccoli.
4. Roast in oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring about halfway through.
