Here is another slow cooker meal! It has a bit of a fall/winter feel to it with the apples and yams. It is super simple, with just a few ingredients.
2 lbs beef chuck, cubed
2 yams, cubed
2 apples, cored and cubed
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1. In a slow cooker, layer the cubed beef on the bottom.
2. Toss in cubed yams and apples. Pour in broth.
3. Add spices and use a spoon to stir everything together.
4. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
